Blogging is an excellent way to communicate with others online. A blogger can create a post (what you are reading right now) where they can communicate their thoughts, ideas, talents, and learning with the world! After a blog post is published, other people can read the blog post and they are able to leave comments. This is like having a conversation, but online instead of face to face. Comments should always be kind responses or questions about the topic of the post. This is how digital conversation begins.
This year, you will all become blogging experts! We will first start practicing blogging on our fourth grade blog. As the year goes on, each and every one of you will create your own individual blog!
I hope you are excited as I am!
Mrs. Williamson

It is difficult to choose a favorite moment that I have shared with all of you. It has been such fun getting to know each and every one of you, and we have learned about many interesting things together. We have shared some exciting books, like The BFG and Trouble Don't Last, and I have loved watching you grow your love for reading.
ReplyDeleteThere is one thing that stands out in my mind, though. It happened on our class trip to Poricy Park. You were all sitting on the floor of the Murray Farmhouse in order to get the true experience of how a colonial child lived. Since everything was taxed by Britain at that time, including chairs, there were only chairs for the adults. Mistress was telling the story of the brave patriot, Joseph Murray, and his part in the Revolutionary War. It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop when, suddenly, a small dog ran into the back door and jumped onto Alexa's lap! We were all so surprised and had a good laugh together. In all the years I have been going to Poricy Park, nothing like that has ever happened.
I am looking forward to the many more books we will share and things we will learn about together this year. You are all so special to me. We also have one more class trip, and who knows what can happen!
Thank you.
DeleteMy favorite moment in fourth grade was when we got to build a long house in Holmdel Park with all my classmates and teachers. That was the best experience of my life to learn how to build a long house because if I feel like I can build my own at house in my backyard with my friends. Another reason that this was my favorite moment in fourth grade was because we got to scream our names of the ladder so everyone can hear. I conclusion, this was the best moment in fourth grade and the best experience of my life. #best time ever I am really looking forward to our next field trip because I think it will be a blast at Poracy Park with all my classmates and my teacher Mrs.Williamson
ReplyDeleteI've had tons of fun this school year, I have a couple of favorite parts. Like the assembly where we had a few animals come in. Such as a White cockatoo. My favorite one. His name was Charlie. Every time the woman on stage tried to speak, He started to dance. It was hilarious! Another one of my favorite parts in the school year is the field trip to Holmdel Park. We built a log house and once we put a ladder we climbed up and screamed our name! It was an amazing field trip. I'm looking forward to the next. So far, That was the best time in the year so far.
